This beer was aged in a rye whiskey barrel. We chose a simpler base beer to give way to the outstanding spicy notes of the spirit. This beer was aged for more than 500 days, and the peppery, cedrussy notes of the barrel soaked into the beer. In the taste beside the notes of rye, sorghum oak is also present.
